How do you stop phone screen flickering after dropping in water??

I dropped my phone in the shower and the water proof shower case thing opened and it got wet. my bathtub fills faster then it can rain so there was about an inch and a half of water in the tub. I puled it out and it worked just fine afterwards for a few hours. when I woke up this morning my phone wasn't turning on, so I left it alone for a few hours and it started working again for a few minutes before the screen flickered and went black. The phone was working other then the screen, so I put i in some rice and it's powering on, but the screen is flickering. What do I do to avoid further damage and fix it?

Sounds like damage is done , you should always power off the device immediately and dont use for at least 48hrs , the only thing now is take to repair center and see what the cost will be to repair it.
