How do you turn off caller id?

I know its a stupid question but I honestly googled it and searched and I cant find out how to turn off caller id so when I call someone it doesnt show my number. I feel like an idiot ******!!!

Have to dial *67 before dialing the number. Been that way for around 20 years.

sorry i thought there was a way to toggle it on and off.

There absolutely is, go to Settings > Call > Additional Settings > Caller ID and change the option to "Hide Number" instead of "Network Default".

I tried to go to additional settings on the call screen but I don't have that option. This is all I have on call;

My htc EVO 4G phone does not have Additional Settings under Call.
