I saw the following article:
Shopping for an Apple product? Choose refurbished every time | Marketplace Blog - CNET Reviews

I am wondering what are the details of asus refurbished. Meaning, what do they actually do?
If they were as well refurbished as apples stuff, I would happily buy refurbished, I especially like how they replace the shell.

I cannot find any info on the net(maybe I'm just searching wrong) about how they go about it. If they simply are just taking returned products and checking that they work ok, I'm not really so excited but if they are actually replacing the shell and what not, then that sounds pretty good.

Thanks

i can't see a reason to believe this article. I mean I could say asus does all the same things but it doesn't make it a fact. The only real fact about refurb products that is actually true across the board is that they are inspected more. There in now way in hell that apple replaces everything single battery and shell that just ludicrous.
