How does Oreo 8.1 perform on Nokia 8?

Where do you load the 8.1 beta from? It wasn't in the update options. I'm guessing you have to sign up for the beta? Also, how is the UI experience? 8.0 is laggy for me and feels kind of sluggish. It's not bad, but I have been hoping that they would refine it a bit. Also, 8.0 camera crashes, is super laggy, and has issues. I'm hoping that is fixed as well.

Yes you've to sign up in order to receive the update.
Camera Software on Nokia 8 is far behind the equipped hardware, Nokia is listening...

Been running the beta for a month or so now. No issues. Runs well, performs well. Only issue is the camera won't focus. Switched to Open Camera with Camera2 API and that works.
