Saw an article on AC that there's an eBay seller that will have the bit I'd never go that route so I'll just have to enjoy reading about the device.
Got to be careful with Best Buy. They ban people from returning items sometimes which is absolutely ridiculous. I wish I could get a P20 from somewhere other than ebay as well. I don't think there's actually anything going on with Huawei either, just the US being overly cautious. However, I know that I'm not important enough for ANY government to care about what I'm doing so even if any of these companies are spying on us. I'm not that worried. I have no expectation of privacy. Those days have long gone. If they want to listen to me talk about what phone I'm getting next, they can be my guest lol.I like very very very easy returns should something be wrong or I have a change of heart (as I often do). Amazon, Best Buy, and MicroCenter have been good so far.

The Huawei P20 Pro camera is better than the pixel and the galaxy, and it has a really nice samsung OLED screen too.
The MP is close to irrelevant. 4K is only 8.3mpI don't know if this is really true. I mean the default setting is 10mp. I'm sure some pictures will be nicer but I think that can be said for all phones. And of course the person taking the picture has a hand in it too
FYI- I purchased my S9+ for a flat $750 on eBay and it's the Verizon version. I had the unlocked version from Samsung and returned it because you lose Wi-Fi calling and I travel a lot and don't want to pay roaming charges for calls.
You lose wifi calling if you buy unlocked from Samsung?? How does that work? Not trying to be sarcastic, I am genuinely curious because I am about to purchase the Galaxy S9+.
Indeed. They need to build a messaging/video app that has the features of iMessage/FaceTime, works natively across all Android devices yet can be downloaded to iOS devices.
Such functionality might just wake Steve Jobs from the dead scream'n "Ah h*lL no!"
