How has the trade-in verification been going?

I'm curious is anybody has had the process completed for their flip 5 and how did it go? I'm interested if you traded previous flip versions or any other phone.

I sent my two off on Wednesday, Aug 16, They both have been sitting in the LEWISVILLE TX post office since Friday Aug 18, waiting to be picked up by ASSURANT or whoever.

Be careful and stay on top of it... I sent two separate trade in. one for the Flip5 one for the Galaxy watch 6.. the Flip5 trade-in has been received and it's pending inspection...but the Watch5 traded was lost by FedEx.

Mine was received but waiting for acceptance for the trade-in value. Its only been 5 days though since they received it.

You didn't send it back using the prepaid FedEx label? Didn't you get a confirmation email from Samsung saying they have received your trade-in? Mine went FedEx on the 16th and received an email saying it had been received and should get results in 3-7 business days. I could be wrong about who is doing the actual evaluation, but I wouldn't think ASSURANT would be involved since they are an insurance company.

My trade in was through Samsung and T-Mobile. The downloaded shipping label was for USPS, not FEDEX. Even though the order was placed on the Samsung website, it was finalized by a link to the T-Mobile website.

Same here, bought two phones (wife and self), the phones have been received but the watch is lost. I've really learned to have no trust whatsoever in FedEx.

I did my trade in through Xfinity mobile, and they are driving me effin' crazy. I received my new phone on 8-7 and I carefully packaged and sent in my old phone the very same day. Tracking showed it was delivered and picked up on 8-9. Days and days...nothing. I had someone call me, and they couldn't confirm the receipt. I finally spoke to a person on Monday who told me that they have received the phone, and I'm getting my credit, but as of today, still no credit on my account online nor an email confirmation. I had the agent give me a confirmation number on Monday, but, until I get an email or see a change on my online billing, I won't be completely comfortable.

Strange!!! My tracking stops on the 16th and the package is flagged as "delayed" Samsung rep told me at this point it's between Samsung and FedEx and don't worry about it, I won't get a charged back.

Well, I've just got an email telling me that being as they have not received my trade-in device in the alloted time I need to pay the discount I got for it.

Being as they gave me until the 1st of september to send it back AND they sent me an email YESTERDAY saying they had received it, this seems a little cheeky to say the least.

FYI, I only got my phone last Friday, 18th August which was 6 days ago.

Received my notification this afternoon. All complete for the $900 trade-in value. Now I can delete all my trade-in return videos.

For those who want some idea of the timeline, here are my dates:
- Aug 16: FedEx reported trade-in delivered to the Texas facility
- Aug 17: Email from Samsung saying they have received trade-in and will evaluate. Expect answer in 3-7 business days.
- Aug 25: Email from Samsung awarding points in Rewards program.
- Aug 26: Email from Samsung saying trade-in completed as planned.
