How has your naked G3 held up?

Heh you're just being daft for the sake of it. Scuffs and scratches on the case would be "cosmetic damage." Broken screens impede the functionality of the device. Keep on trollin'.

Ya know what? I think the last phone I dropped was a "Princess Phone" mounted to the wall in my parent's kitchen, and that was because I wandered beyond the cord length.

I have the invisible shield on front and back, grip is fine. Break something, them be a big boy and fix it.

I haven't posted to this thread in a year, but I will update you on the status of my "caseless G3".


I still don't drop my phones, so it is looking like new to this day. Cases are for the forgetful and clumsy. Or the fashionistas of the world.

Been naked since day one. I never use cases because I rarely drop my phone and don't like the feel/look with case. The plastic is rather slippery. I've dropped this phone more than I have others, though drops are really like slipped out of my hand and hit the floor or tumbled around my car.

Despite dropping a fair amount, for me, it has held up very well. Better than my other phones that were dropped. There is one exception, and that is that the plastic has cracked/split around the IR blaster and microphone. Not a huge deal because they are fine cracks, but something I will have to mention when I sell the phone.

A few scratches but nothing major. I dropped my phone in a pond this summer and when it hit the battery and back came off. Phone works fine still. Had the battery stayed in might not be the story.

Been naked since about May. Although I have a glass screen protector on. It's usually in my work backpack pocket and I only bust it out for gaming. The glass is pretty scratched up and the edges look really used. The back looks like it's fading.

The G3 is super sleek and smooth. Even with the scratches and wearing, It feels so much better naked!
