In a previous post i described how to easily hack the gear vt consumer edition to increase the IPD for those of us with IPDs outside the standard range OR if u just want it centered to your IPD to get better picture quality/focus. By just moving the lens to one side.
The problem with that method was it reduced FOV as the lens moved sideways but the lens holder hole stayed the same, thus decreasing your FOV.
So i decide to cut the hole and the intermediate black piece that got in the way.
The result was pretty good i can finally see a clear in focus picture throughout the full screen not just in the centre. Picture quality therefore is a lot better
