How is a concert recorded audio?

hi guys. i'm pretty interested in a note 4. my last question is about how it can handle loud volume environments. in iphones and my htc one m8, the audio do not distorts at all. my old lg g2 audio was all distorted when recording in a concert. so any of you guys tried to record in loud audio? thanks.

Pretty much any handheld device with a voice mic is going to have very poor recording capabilities for large performances.

YouTube is littered with concert clips uploaded from smartphones, and they're all various forms of hot garbage from a sound quality standpoint.

Not sure about the sound but I've always heard that if you keep your finger over the mic during the concert the sound will come out much better.
