How is everyone here handling Bluetooth transfers?

So far I've only tried the "Bluetooth File Transfer" app from Medieval, and I've installed the Bluetooth addon for Astro. That said, I just can't seem to get Bluetooth to play nice with Vista, which I admit isn't really that hard because it seems pretty clunky on Vista already. I successfully managed to send one picture to my phone, after multiple attempts to connect with my computer and having mixed results every time, so I'm assuming there must be an easier way to do this. I guess my gripe is specifically handling things with Vista, since I never have problems using Blueman in Ubuntu. However, I managed to freeze up the phone a couple times, causing it to restart, so I'm assuming that my phone and computer aren't exactly playing nice.

So, I ask you all, what is your setup for transferring stuff via Bluetooth?
(I was debating between putting this is in "General Help and How To", but I figured it fit better here.)

I haven't had any issues connecting my EVO to my iMac via Bluetooth. Have to make sure ftp is turned on in the phone's options obviously, but it's pretty painless.
