How is the double tap to wake implementation?

I love the double tap to wake on the LG phones. How does it compare on the Z3? Has anyone tried it with Nova launcher (does it work?)

It works with the google now launcher.

I use it all the time, also with Google now launcher. Can't see why it wouldn't work with Nova.

I came from the G3 and that was one if the features I was going to miss. It was a nice surprise to know that the Z3 has it. No code knock but I didn't use that on the G3. I downloaded "screen off and lock" app and use that to turn the the phone off. I am loving the Z3 compared to the G3, biggest plus is battery life.

How easy was it adjusting to the smaller screen. Also how was it for you going from QHD to FHD screen.

I have a g3 too and am considering the z3 since they officially announced it for verizon today. I am also considering a note 4.

The problem with the verizon's Z3 is, it looks exactly like a Z2, with verizon's branded logos. So disappointing.

Anyway, I use the double tap feature with the stock Sony UI. I can say its faster than LG's knock.

Just download Knock Lock, nice little app that compliments the OEM Double tap to unlock function.

I actually like the smaller size screen. I thought the G3 was a tad too big, 5.2 seems just right to me. Regarding the screen, I really don't notice that much of a difference. I am sure you could see a difference if you put both phones next to each other. You will notice vertical lines when you're in direct sun light but it doesn't bother me.
