How is the picture quality with the mhl?

Can it play back at full resolution, or does it cap it? Any other thoughts would be great.

I bought MHL adapter from Tmobile and picture quality was not good so I turned it back. I played HD quality movies, netflix, Green Hornet movie on my big screen tv and (UI pixeled) issue picture wasn't clear.

Well none of those sources are at 1080 resolution now are they.
Of course they are going to look a little pixeled. they would probably look much better on a 720p tv.

I think the quality is very good and love that it simply mirrors the e3d screen so you can play anything you want on the tv.

Some of the netflix movies are not 1080p but Green Hornet movie was 1080p and yet picture was not high definition quality.

OK! Sorry guys, I am confused. Are you telling me that if I purchase the micro USB to HDMI cable, for my EVO 3D, that I can or cannot see my 3D media on a 1080 television? I have heard mixed stories on this..........

What is the truth?

Thanks!

The EVO 3D utilizes a MHL port. You need a MHL adapter to connect our "micro USB" port to an HDMI display to pass video whether 2D/3D. Your micro USB to HDMI cables will not work on the EVO 3D. Just remember that you must have the MHL adapter and a wall charger connected via said adapter for it to work.

I have the HTC AC M490.and am using is with my 3D Evo. The picture quality is excellent until I use YouTube or Netflix, then it is pretty pixelated. I changed my Netflix settings to the highest quality(I have super duper uber road runner) and no change. I have several 1080p tv's/monitors and HDMI cables to test with so if anyone has any ideas for things I can try, I am all ears.

I've got a sensation and I've got several mhl adaptors/docks (kidi/anker) and there all fine untill I watch netflix and then it goes all blurred.I was told by several people that if I buy the HTC AC M490 it would solve the problem,I got one yesterday and,its alias of crap, for some reason its still a crap picture on netflix.whether or not its netflix or not I don't know.hope you have better luck sorting it than I have.

I'm new here, so not sure if there are better posts to ask this question on, but I'm playing around with the mhl cable on my evo 3d and I'm only outputting at the native resolution of 540x960 to my projector. Is there a way to change this to output at a higher resolution so that I can achieve 720p or 1080p?

Anyone have success at actually outputting 720p to a display through mhl?

Netflix and YouTube resolution rely on the data connection of your phone and the app itself.

HD Netflix app will stream HD.
The YouTube app is only HD on the phone.(Evo 3D specific YouTube app)

Sorry
