How is the signal quality on the One X?

How does it compare to an iPhone 4S? I know my Vivid I kept for a few days and my girlfriends HTC inspire was terrible.

I came from an iPhone 4S and briefly had a Vivid before exchanging it for an HOX. The signal between the iPhone and HOX is the same for me. I'm getting the same amount of bars. I didn't even have the Vivid long enough to really notice how the signal was on that one.

I have a 4S now, battery life better on the HOX too? My 4S I have to charge at around noon after unplugging it at 7 am (but I do watch netflix at work continuously just about it) I'd bet the HOX has a 21 mbps HSPA+ radio too doesn't it?

I haven't noticed any difference between my Inspire and One X, and had no complaints about the Inspire, either.

I'll try to compare tonight between my One X and the fiancees iPhone 4 (not S). Might be a slight difference between the 4 and 4S.

Battery life is very good so far on the HOX. Seems to be comparable to my iPhone. I unplugged my phone about 6:30 this morning and am at 75% with minor use. I'm not using a live wallpaper. My HOX has the weather as the lock screen and I don't have alot of widgets running but do have a couple gmail accounts and my work email (through touchdown).

i came from a 4s and my one x seemed worse and the signal fluctuated a decent bit.. i took it back and got another one from another best buy and it seems fine now..

-76dbm on her iphone 4.

Between -83 & -87 on my One X. Same location. Side by side.

Apples onto something with that "external" antenna lol.

Now both are good signal, and I'd like to do this test again in a low signal area. Maybe at a later date.

I own both the iPhone 4S and the One X, both AT&T branded. 4S gets slightly better reception everywhere I've looked. As far as build quality goes, it's close. I give the edge to the iPhone. It just feels a little more premium.I'am noticing some lag on my One X now that I've had it a few days and have really been able to test it. And, yes it's bothering me a little

I just got my gray HOX today and its awesome i have the same bars that i had on my iphone 4s and lumia 900 LTE is great here in DFW. and no wifi issues for me so glad after reading all of the post.

My signal has been pretty bad. I've seen other threads where people are having the same issue. The bars are jumping from 1 to 4 then down to 2. People are having problems hearing me in places where I have never had issues before. Just checked my signal strength and it is jumping around between -99 and -103 dBm. The Mobile network type is jumoing back and forth between HSPA and UTMS.

Anyone else seeing this? I'm thinking about swapping out for a new to see if that helps.

Signal seems fine so long as the phone is not in my pants pocket. This phone for whatever reason has a really tough time maintaining signal lock. I've had every version of the iPhone since 2007 and not one of them had this problem. OT: but it also takes longer to get a GPS lock then my 4S but from what I understand GPS performance in Android has always been suspect.
