I am curious about this as well. The speaker on my pre is so good, that when I'm home, if I'm on the phone, I prefer speakerphone, because then I can just lay the phone down. I'm hoping to continue this practice when I switch to the EVO.

From what I've used, it is pretty good.

Not as good as my Touch Pro 2 (best speaker phone I've ever used) but far better than most phones.

I hope it's better than the palm pre. I found that speaker to be seriously lacking. My neighbor has the Samsung Moment and that speaker seemed to be quite loud...
