HOW: LG G3 Gallery - select multiple photos

Wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something obvious...

How do I select multiple photos from the Gallery app? Long-pressing just opens the picture.

On my Galaxy S4 & Nexus 7 I can select multiple pics...

Just hit the bin and then you can select multiple pictures/documents or whatever

Yeah you need to select what action you want to take first, then select multiple photos. For instance, press the delete button, then select which photos you want to delete

Tap this button. Select which photos you want to share, then finally select what application to share with.

That works ONLY if you select first THEN select FB or mail etc.
If you have typed a msg via a FB Pages acct you can select ONLY ONE and Pages is NOT once of the Share selections available.
I was able to do what I want on and iPhone but not a droid
