How long are the included cables?

There's a 1m cable which is for the power socket and a smaller 30cm cord with USB2 to USB3 for PC plug in.

Silly they made the cables so short. What's he point of bundling cables if folks have to order new, real-size ones anyway. Slightly longer cables would've cost Google pennies more. And unlike iPhone, it's not like we'll be buying the new cables from Google.
