I've been using mine lately for just reading on the train. Seems I am getting about 4 hours or so of straight reading before it is time to recharge using the Nook Android reader. How many hours are others getting of reading time?

I usually get tired before my battery gets that low. Last week, I spent at least 6 hours continuosly reading with no issues. I keep my screen turned down to about 20% and the battery life is awesome. After checking cpuspy, I find that the nook runs at about 300 mHz when reading. I am not underclocked but using nook tweeks and setting the profile to conservative in the cm settings, my battery life is the best it's ever been.

Only 4 hours?

You either have the OC minimum too high or your brightness is too high....

I have minimum set to 300 and brightness in the app down as low as possible to still be readable. Probably about 20%. I have the governor set to on demand but I doubt the app is demanding an increase in the CPU. Wifi is off by default as well.

Using Aldiko, brightness at 16%-20%, wifi off and cpu minimum set to 300 I can easily get over 8 hours (and often do, I'll read a book a day on the weekends)

Perhaps you could go into cwm and reset battery stats. As a last resort (as this is rough on LiPo batteries) you could fully charge the battery with power off, start and run battery down to about 5-10% then fully charge again with power off. This will condition the battery but before I tried that I would look at anything running in the background which might be placing an undue strain on the battery. ZDbox tells me, on the average, I have 14-16 apps running at any given time. If I need to conserve battery life, I look at exactly what I can live without and kill the selected apps (I usually allow android to handle this but this would be an exception)
I did see a major battery life increase after n136. Would love to update to n150 for the boot speed increase but BT seems to have issues there. Just my .02
