how long should i charge my phone which i just bought?

it's a new asus zenphone 5. I bought it just now. it's totally new. how long should i keep it on charge for the first time?

To 100%. Leaving it charging for longer than that will do no harm, and may do good.

Best to charge the phone for 24hrs switched off.....

The phone stops charging once it hits 100% so its really not doing anything
