Mine got dropped last night. Didn't have the phone for 12 hours and I was letting my friend show me how to figure some things out on android because he has the Hero and about 20 minutes in he dropped it from chest high onto concrete.
The phone screen didn't crack (thank buddha) but the top left is chewed up some from the concrete.
He felt really bad and said he was buying one here in the next couple of weeks and he would switch it with mine.
I need to find a case...pronto
