Just curious how many duds they are cranking out. My first S5 had a finger print sensor problem so I had to exchange. I am seeing a decent amount of people saying they are on their second S5 already.

I'm still on my first one and still no issues as of yet. I got my S5 on Saturday 4/26/14. Plus I just use the device and I don't go looking for issues and if it happens it happens. I have insurance on it.

I'm on my first. I haven't had any issues at all (knocking on wood). It's normal for there to be lemons in each model.

Now that kijiji (aka craigslist) is a risk with this BS blacklist system, I no longer use it to buy any new/sealed phones. Besides saving I didn't have to worry about my OCD.

This is why I didn't buy the hTc One M8 again when I returned the first because of AFT/Mac issues, the second unit I was going to buy still had loose Volume Rockers that I settled for the S5, which BTW is flawless.

I'm on my second one, the first one's power button would not turn off screen, had to wait until it would time out. Started off having to push it a couple times, but by day 3 it would not turn the screen off at all. I almost returned my second one for a 3rd one because pictures, videos were covered with gray squares, but I exchanged the new SD card I bought at best buy and it fixed the problem, so far.

That's not bad at all!!! only 3 people on their 3rd phone out of how many hundreds of thousands released? I'd say that is a pretty damn good ratio of success. wouldn't you?

It is typical for the first batch of phones to have some duds. And some of the problems are software related that will be fixed in later updates. It is hard to wait when these devices launch, but I think from now on, I'm going to wait until that first batch goes through and at least until the first couple of software updates fix some of the bugs before I purchase a new phone. I have gotten devices in launch day and not had any issues and I have gotten devices on launch and had to have them replaced numerous times. Or have had issues with the software and had to wait for what seemed like an eternity for a fix.

Sent from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3...yeah, it's spectacular.

Still on the first. Has two issues. Two weeks old. Camera has a weird green hue in the centre and shows up on pictures.Mostly with white or lighter colours. And to be honest the picture quality on our iphone 5s looks better. Back cover doesn't seem to close properly. Which will most likely let water in.

1st one and while there is a bit of a learning curve and lots of potential blind alleys to go down I'm finding that 99% of all complaints/concerns are really just user error or ignorance. I'm sure even Rolex puts out a dud or two but that is certainly NOT the general rule.

On my 2nd. Got the first in release day and I couldn't setup visual voice mail which should have happened automatically when inserting my old sim card, and I could send but not receive text messages. Brought it back with no problems and got the second.
