Just curious to see how bad my problem with phones is compared to others.

I have had 18 phones in 2 years.

8830
envy(green)
Rzr
Dare
v9m
envy2
Voyager X's 2
Envytouch
Pearl
Curve
Krave
Centro
Juke
Storm
Storm2
Envy3
Tour

Some of these I bought used for a week or 2 then sold, others I won in contests through work, used for a week or 2 then sold. Then there are phones I actually used an upgrade to get 8830, Dare, Tour. I also had to use insurance once which is how I get the Envytouch.

I think I have phone issues. Lucky number 19 will be the incredible. So far the longest I have had a phone in the last 3 years is my tour which has been a year now.

I can only remember the passed two years. I had a

Samsung A737
3 different iPhone 3Gs
iPhone 3GS
Nexus One (AT&T 3G)

iPhone 3G was my first smartphone.

Had a Nokia Flip and then the LG voyager for the past 3. I usually stick with my phone for the duration of the contract because I've been on a family plan and haven't had control to do whatever I want(because I don't pay for it). Never had that great phone. Will be going the smartphone way when my contracts up in August.

8330 Curve
9530 Storm (3 replacements)
9630 Tour (1 replacement)
Droid (1 replacement)
and in 3 more days Incredible

no cell phone until 2006
Motorola Razr 06-09
LG Dare Feb - Nov 09 (nice phone, but it's just a tease for what a smartphone could do)
Droid - Should be happy for a couple years

I totally agree with the Dare. I had it. I was talked out of the phone I wanted (Voyager) cause the Dare was supposed to be the next big thing. I wish I went with the voyager still as when I bought it, there wasn't a single app in the market, which the rep said should be filled soon. It wasn't. I got ESPN after baseball season already ended, Ebay cost $3-4 a month for the same thing as the free mobile site. It was just a tease. The one neat thing I did on it was use Orb... that worked very well from the browser.
