I'm about to yank out each of my gray hairs. I've had an LG G2 (D801) with T-mobile since Feb 2014 and am on KitKat 4.4.2.
I have my screen display time-out set to 15 seconds. For the past 6-8 weeks, that screen time out is NOT working and my screen stays on almost all of the time. Rebooting doesn't help. Same situation whether I have the phone in the quick cover case or not.
The battery stats show "screen" as using anywhere from 52-65+% and it drains faster than fast. I do not have WiFi, bluetooth or anything enabled and turned off location. Only app I have is PrivacyStar for call blocking but I've had that for well over a year.
T-mobile wants to blame the quick cover case, but the screen staying on happens whether the phone is in the case or not. I will be very grateful for help/tips you can give. Thanks very much.
