The point is free... Verizon offered a choice of free vr or free s2. I would take the free s2 any day. You can easily resell it and buy a vr with money to spare

True. I don't plan on pre ordering anyways so I'm not worried about any special combo deals. I didn't pre order the S7 even though it had a free VR. I want to see what others say about it first, and wait until I can get a heavy duty case for it. I don't want to spend 800 or more bucks and not have good protection on it. I might even wait and see how long before the unlocked one comes out especially if it's cheaper than buying it from my carrier.
