How much does a 3d parallax wallpaper use system resources?

I've been playing around with my newly-downloaded nova launcher all day today, and I love what I can do with it! I came across something else today when I was searching around for icon packs. They are the apps that allow you to add a 3d parallax effect to your wallpaper. I think its a small touch, not quite a "live" wallpaper, but looks awesome and clean. Im curious at how much ram/battery these apps may take up, just to add a simple parallax effect. Any thoughts? Im on the droid turbo.

If you use your own picture, probably not much, but the wallpapers the parallax apps use are live wallpapers.
