HOW much is the phone IN-STORE?

I've been reading a lot of confusing threads regarding price--

So some people are saying that the Droid is available for $199 in Verizon stores.

Some are saying that it's $299 with a $100 mail-in rebate visa card thing.

Some are saying that it's both.

What are the prices in Verizon stores with new 2 year contracts?

Just go to best buy...instant rebates, no debit card mail in hassel. I think its 199

It's $199 AFTER mail-rebate debit card, so technically you'll leave the store paying $299. Online and with free overnight shipping is much better.

If you order through the verizon website it is $299 with an instant $100 rebate so you only pay $199 with a two year contract. IF you want it without the 2 year contract it is $599

I also went back to best buy a week later with an online ad from.Sears mobile selling it for 150, and they honored their price match offer and gave me back about 53 bucks. I've heard not all of them will honor an online ad, but I guess I got lucky

to honor an online price its actually the Managers discretion.

I got mine for 199 no rebate because I have the corp discount form my company on the account
