How much data use is too much for Sprint. I heard of people getting cancelled. I'm really enjoying netflix on my new Evo, the display is great! I'm watching hours a day! No wifi and it is doing some buffering.

Sprint data is unlimited...seriously unlimited. You can use as much as you want.

Now if you use too much data while roaming, that's when they get mad and may cancel you.

You'd have a triangle by the signal bars...

I average a LOT of data... Last month alone was 15gb.

Is it roaming when its buffering? My new Evo always says its roaming in the settings.

No, it's just buffering because Sprint speeds suck. Like tirith said, it will have a triangle next to your signal bar if you're roaming.

I'd like to get that roaming data going, maybe Sprint would cut me lose!!! My service has been terrible since march in Chicago area, won't be complete with upgrades until Sept or Oct!!

What do you do to use that much data? How are your data speeds? WiMax? I connect to wifi whenever I can to improve my speeds. I can't imagine using 15gb at my 400 kbs speeds

They are hacks you can do where you apply a Verison PRL to make sure you're using their towers. But is that ethical?

The only way you'll get in trouble with Sprint is if use too much roaming data. Not sure whats too much but I would imagine there would have to be a pattern over a few billing cycles.

Well Chicago supposedly has some LTE sites already, so you might be able to get some LTE very soon!

3g data speeds average at 2mb. Wimax was included in my number, about 8mbps.

I stream pandora, a lot. I'm a professional driver, so it's always on in my car and work truck. Also included are netflix and motocast - for when I want to access my laptop while on the go - I keep that at home. Forgot to mention facebook...

As far as how much roaming data is too much, 800mb a month for 3 months.

Btw, streaming netflix on 3g, I never get buffering, but I'm just lucky I guess.

2mb on 3G is pretty darn good for Sprint. I'm jealous

Lol, I'm just lucky. I'm currently sitting at a spot with .21mb but I'll survive

Edit:
And for a random guess on that one, I'm damn good :) (added ss)
