How much more is battery life shortened on High Performance Mode? Art enabled?

How much more is battery life shortened on High Performance Mode?(HPM)

Does it make a big difference on the drain if I enable HPM and ART?

You would probably have to do your own controlled tests with both, everyone's usage is different.

Personally I find high performance mode to be unnecessary , the phone will use all its resources if it needs them. I guess the only usage would be gaming where you may not want the phone to be limiting resources

Yep.

ART has some advantages on stock Android (I use it on my Nexus 7) but still use Dalvik on my M8 because Sense 6 seems to work better (and Xposed/Sense 6 toolbox doesn't work on ART)

Yep, I had mine clocked at 2.8ghz for a while but there's no custom kernels available for 4.4.3 so I'm back to stock kernel
