How much space is available on a 32GB Moto X (2nd gen)?

Does anyone own the 32GB model and how much space is actually on it? I currently own a Moto X 2nd Gen 16GB but I find the lack of memory on the 16GB to be a deal breaker for me.

The Moto X 2nd Gen 32GB model came with about 24GB of user available storage. Since there have been updates (Lollipop) the available space may be slightly less.

This is typically a known fact for all devices; however, the amount of storage available to the user will vary based on the device(s), including carrier branded devices with pre-loaded software.

Thanks. I'm debating about switching to the 32 Gig model or maybe a Note 4 or Xperia Z3.

A LOT depends on the carrier pre-loaded apps, and how many apps people load on their device...

I have a Pure Edition... so no carrier apps... but I have everything I like and need on my Androids (roughly 15-20 apps), plus a couple things like one album for emergencies (or I just forgot to remove the album after I transferred it)... I have 24.7G free right now.

I have the Moto X and the Note 4. I use the Note 4 right now as my daily driver. The Note 4 offers a lot of great and useful features that I use daily, but it is no where near as smooth as the Moto X. It really just depends on what you need from your phone. It is nice to have that expandable storage too. I have a 64gb card that I bought for $20 and I will never have a space issue on the Note 4. If only I could combine these two phones I would have my dream phone.

Yeah, its about 24 GB free "clean", but then add whatever apps/media to that.
