I had mine shattered a month after I got it. Sent it over to samsung to get it fixed. $300 is what I paid and it is back like new. I actually thought they sent me a new phone but when I checked the IMEI number, it was the same as the phone I broke. They did an AMAZING job.so i dropped my note 8, and it cracks really badly, the screen flickers in green. so is just replacing the touchscreen LCD (which after some research, can cost up to 300$) would be it or is it going to cost more since its not just a cracked lcd?

I seriously didn't believe it was the same phone. I shattered the front BIG time. But it seems that they have changed both back and front and I believe the entire metal around the phone. It was all wrapped in plastic like a new phone and got to enjoy peeling it off again lol. That sounds like an awesome fixup experience!
After paying premiums and deductibles, I think taking your chance and just pay for repairs IF you need to is a better route.Yes, without premium plus, fixing a phone through Sammy is about 300+

They even sent me a brand new charger LOL. I was very hesitant to sending it in and paying $300 to only be disappointed with the repair quantity, but man was I impressed.
