How often are PRL updates?

Everytime I call 611 my screen goes to the Sprint screen and let's me know there is a PRL update that will help with my cell coverage. Are these usually updated every day? Are they even worth the upgrade of doing it everyday?

I'm not sure how often its updated but you can update it going to system and updates in the settings menu

That I know. I just wasn't sure if it's actually updating each day or I'm just doing the same update every day.

PRL updates don't happen too often.. Maybe every few months, sometimes sooner... Plus PRL only affects changes in the towers for roaming coverage from what I remember.

Exactly. PRL stands for preferred roaming list and a PRL update updates the list of towers that Sprint has negotiated using with other carriers.

Yep contrary to popular belief prls don't affect your actual cell service in any way only your roaming service.
