How often does apps get send from the Market to the phone?

Sometimes it is immediate and sometimes it take hours. Is there anyway to force it to sync?

That doesn't seem to be working.

I just check the Android Market and my phone. There are several apps I downloaded that have never been transfered to my phone, even from the 24th.

I have rebooted several times.

I wondering if it's some kind of sync setting, because Facebook often doesn't show any posts in the news feeds. Also, had some sync issues with Gmail.
