How often should you reset the phone?

I bought it July 19 and shouls I reset it?

Are you having any problems? If not, no need. Typically I only reset after a major update, before if I know the update is a major one.

Yes you should. Wouldn't hurt to restart it once a day. Takes seconds. Once a week would be ok. If you think your phone is getting slow or buggy, restarting can help. Also clearing the cache helps.

Lol. When I saw reset I imagined factory reset. Lol.


The S7 has a function for autoreset. You can set it to once a week to do so in early morning when you're asleep.

In settings>back up and reset>automatic restart
