How popular will this phone be? Do you think there will be a lot of accessories and timely updates?

Does anyone know how it was for the LG G2 with these questions?

Edit: I didn't realize I said LG GA lol. I meant G2 and updates, not update s lol. Might've been a phone autocorrect.

I'm sure this will be a popular phone. As with all new things people.....correction....the majority of people will rush to get this phone cause it claims to be the best of the best. I on the other hand do not need it. I am happy with what I have. Reguardless, the LG G3 seems like a great phone and will do well. As for accessories? There should be quite a few.

Depends how much marketing they're putting into it otherwise other products with a higher spending on marketing will surpasses it aka samsung apple and the latest amazon

Considering LG's place in the hierarchy of smartphones it will not be near as popular as any Samsung or Apple phone. That doesn't mean it won't be a great phone. It will probably see similar success as the G2.

Looking at the phones I see around the majority are cheaper Android phones and I'd say the majority of the higher end ones are Samsungs and less so HTC. I've seen very few Droids and even less G's. I just saw my first G2 in the wild 2 weeks ago. They don't really do a ton of marketing and I think most of the masses won't be familiar with them. Will the store employees push then when someone clueless comes in needing a phone? Hard to say, but they might push it for its fancy screen.

Samsung-Apple-LG-HTC. I don't see the G3 moving LG up the rung any. It may sell better than the G2 but it won't approach the sales #s of the Galaxy Series or IPhone.

If carriers mainly only offer the 2/16 version, a lot of folks here will find it as popular as scurvy on a pirate ship.

With micro sd write changes and ART using more storage space with 5.0, 10gb of user storage is getting very retro.

Aside from accessory and software support does the popularity of a phone really matter to anyone? I mean, if it works for you do you care what others think or buy? Maybe I'm at a point (too old) to care what anyone thinks. I like what I like and buy what I like. I really liked my M7 (except for the camera) and rarely saw anyone else with the phone. Didn't care one bit.... I'm sure the G3 will have a decent following but it will pale in comparison to Apple and Sammy phones (might beat out the M8 though).

I agree I could care less how many phones Apple or Samsung sell I do not like either the iPhone or galaxy, I have had fairly good luck with HTC and LG phones in the past i never judge my buying decision on popularity,or marketing.
