How Root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900V 5.0?

I have a Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900V with version 5.0 (lollipop) installed.
Build Number: LRX21V.N900VVRUEOB6
Some files and pics/videos got deleted mysteriously and i am trying to recover them. I heard about disk digger and other ROOTED apps that could help me with doing so. I've looked everywhere and have been unable to find a way to safely root it without deleting my data. which raises these questions..
1. How to root?
2. If rooted by deleting data (even though everything i wish to keep is safe on my SD Card and I do not plan on rooting the phone with SD card inserted) would that also delete the data that i am trying to recover in the first place?
3.OneClickRoot.com claims by paying their fee they can remotely root my phone. Is this garunteed on my specific phone? Has anyone tried with this model?
4. If rooting my phone is in no way possible.. is there any other possible way to recover these mysteriously deleted pics/vids? Is there a way to prevent it from happening again aside from just saving them to SD Card?
Please help. I greatly appreciate it.

Root is a double edged sword per say. I honestly can't recommend rooting just for pictures but I don't know how precious they are so that's none of my business but what I can say is that root is something that can be a bit tricky so if you do decide to do it I'll warn ya that it can be bad if done incorrectly. Such damage can brick a phone. That being said root has alot of neat possibilities
