the pre has a 600 mhz processor, however it is only utilized for 3d games. i believe the droid also has the exact same processor but it never goes above 550 (unless your overclocking)

False. The Pre uses an OMAP 3430 which is rated at a max of 600MHz. However, in a stock Pre it only runs at 500MHz. You can overclock it to 800MHz though. If you want to overclock, head on over to AC's sister site www.precentral.net

yes, i know what your saying but if you check the clock speed while your in say, "NOVA", it will read 600. i have it overclocked on my pre to run at 720 all the time though.

He's right, the Pre's processor is rated at 600mhz but is underclocked, while also scaling higher for 3d gaming.
