How to activate Important Call feature on Samsung S9+?

[Android Central Question]

Hi all, me and my husband recently bought S9+.

I noticed he has a feature for Important Call that works on his phone with one of his colleagues that also has an S9+.

However, this option is not available for me when he is trying to call me or when i am trying to call him.

Do you know why ? we have same phones, except different color.

I have searched in Settings but couldn't find any option to activate this.

hmmmmm. While you each have Galaxy S9+, you may not have exactly the same phones.

What carrier are you on? What carrier is he on? What carrier is his colleague on?

Also, where did you buy your phone--through your carrier, or unlocked directly from Samsung or Best Buy? How about your husband and his colleague? Where did they get their phones?

For example: I have a T-Mobile branded S9+, and I don't have this:

Thank you so much for your reply.

We are both on same carrier - Orange

We bought the phones at the same time from the same place, not through our career and not through Samsung but we bought them unlocked from an electronics store.

Not sure where his colleague got it from, but i don't think from the same place.

And his colleague is on the same carrier as we are: Orange.

But since we are both on same carrier and bought them at the same time from the same place and only difference is the color, shouldn't this work for both of us?

It is weird, and unpleasant I though maybe he activated some features from his settings that i might've missed.

So this means i will never have that option? ))

I guess you're looking for this. You should check Advenced calling & messaging section in the settings.
(My phone is Samsung note8)
