How to add shortcuts on my HTC One ?! lol.

Not having he HTC One I can't say exactly but it always was a long press and you got a pop up with the option..

Have you looked under the app drawer to see if the option is in there? I think that is also where widgets have been relocated to also...

Holding down an icon highlights it and I can lift it but I can't seem to get it on the homescreen. Holding down an icon brings up a "shortcut" option at the top that I thought maybe if I drag the icon there it would place it but it does not.

Well, I just answered my own question. I have to hover it over that "shortcut" option and it places the icon. I feel so silly.

I love this phone, just some things are a bit... annoying? Been on it all day though.

I had the same problem yesterday before I figured it out. It does not work the same as my one x.
