I am using my Huawei watch with S7 edge and trying to figure out how to attend and use the watch for phone calls.

I am able to get call notification with the ringtone loud and clear in my watch, but as soon as I attend the call, it switches to my phone.

How do I get this to work on the watch and not transfer the call to the phone as soon as I attend the call?

Thanks!

Yep and checked the bluetooth settings as well. No sign to use the watch or transfer audio to the watch.

I just tried mine and couldn't get it to work. In the Bluetooth settings on the watch, make sure "Play phone audio on watch" is set to ON. Your phone should then indicate there is actually a BT device connected. I did that but it wouldn't transfer the audio to my watch.

THEN, I tapped the audio button in the phone call interface and selected to transfer to bluetooth and it sent it right over.

I don't see that option at all in my Bluetooth settings - any idea how did you get that?

Which option? This is the option on the watch -

On the phone, tap the far left icon and it should give you the menu as shown, selecting Bluetooth on that menu transfers the call/audio to the watch.

Make sure you have the latest update for the watch.

Thanks a ton! The settings in the watch did the trick. Not sure why no one demoing this feature show or talk about the steps!

It's not as intuitive as using a headset, I'll give you that. With a headset, the phone assumes you want to use the headset, I guess it sees the watch as a speaker phone device which I guess gives you an option instead of being automatic.
