I used to be able to block auto updates for the operating system as well as security ect. Is that still available on the AT&T Note 20 Ulta?

On my Note 8, I was able to press no Auto Update on the OS. Ex. Android 9 to Android 10 - or 1UI to 2UI. I don't like it to do the update without checking what will change. I also like to wait for the bugs to be removed. I had this button on my Note 8 and didn't let it Update to Pie, as I didn't want the new UI at the time. Any Idea. I was on Sprint, but now am on AT&T.

Hi, you really want to do that?

Forgot how to do this as a reply.

Well that's what I figured why he would want to disable the automatic update checker.
I like to block updates for reasons such as good lock app usually doesn't work for awhile after a major OS update. I'll block the OS update until there is confirmation good lock is updated to work.

Exactly! How do you block it. Is it just ignoring it, by not pressing update? I thought I had a button on my Sprint Note 8 that said "Auto Update" for Apps as well as ex. UI2. I would get notifications about the update, but it would not just do it.

I use as a app from playstore called package disabler pro for Samsung and disable it there, you don't even get the notifications.

Mustang7757 or Mikedee can tell you the exact ones to disable. I was just looking at this when you posted this question. I also disable all the bixby crap. Just be careful and make sure you know what you're disabling.
