How to change photo's date in Gallery app?

I've done the following but to no avail:

• altered EXIF data: Date Taken
• changed File Created date (unnecessary, because the File Created date is different from the erroneous date the Gallery is displaying)
  
• renamed filename's date
• completely delete the photos in the Gallery then re-add
• disabled Samsung Cloud for Gallery

On PC, the file's properties data have no hint of the erroneous date at all.

Hence, this answer for example is ineffective to me.

erroneous date: Date/time of the phone first setup. Totally brand new

Please advise me. Thanks!

Update: It's very hazy to me how this Gallery app is interpreting a photo's date, it seems to cache/store that data elsewhere.

But 1 photo of mine fails to get its date fixed. And that 3rd party app doesn't seem to support videos. :'(
