How to change the screen over lock screen

My apologies for the poor question earlier. I'm not sure what you call the screen that shows up once the lock screen has come on. In my case it is a digital clock with a huge hour number and very small minutes. Any way to change the clock or get rid of the screen? Isn't screen saver. That is turned off. Thanks and sorry for the second post.

Welcome to the forums. What device and Android version do you have? In some phones there are not many options to change the content on the lock screen.

Are you talking about always on? That would be in settings, display, and always on. From there you can click on it to turn it off or adjust what shows in the screen.

Always on its a great feature, it's kind on the screen and battery, goes off when in your pocket or face down and changes brightness to suit ambient light conditions... I love not having to wake up the phone just to see the time..... Brilliant!
