AC Question

So I upgraded my phone from a LG G2 To a Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So far I am loving the changes EXCEPT for the message+. When I text people with faces like : ), I see this ugly yellow face design :) that don't even look like it. A ": (" looks like a tired, despressed face instead of sad. A ": |" looks like an upset face rather than expressionless, and ": ' (" looks like the "sad" face buf ith one tear drop. Basically, the smileys are ugly and they seem to express one expression, but people use the text faces for other expressions.

I want to know if there is a way I can change the smileys in text messages (at least change it to something else. My girlfriend has a Iphone 5, so I want the designs to be the same as what she sees). If not changeable, then I want the smileys turned off. So does anyone know how?

Also, same for emoji, the desings in there are completely different and just too much.

Not the best but a work around. In the text field you should see a smiley face to the far right just before the send button, press that and it will bring up a bunch of emoji's that you can insert, then press the ABC in the bottom left corner. If you don't see the smiley face in the text field area then text press and hold on the microphone icon in the bottom left corner. Then select the smiley face and choose your emoji, when done select ABC in the bottom left corner to get back to the standard keyboard. These seem to get sent just fine instead of the traditional way that gets changed to the Android emoji expression. Next time you're with your gf, send her a text with one of the emoji's and see how they come across on her phone.
