How to check the date of manufacture on the 6P?

You can see it in Fastboot mode (volume down + power) There's a barcode option in there with the manufacture date.

Mine is 10/27 got it this past Monday, the 9th. Got mine directly from Huawei. Knock on wood the phone is flawless. I'm very happy with this purchase. Liked the nexus 6 a lot, but this 6P is the best device I've ever owned. Hope you are all as lucky with yours.

mine is 10/7 wow early build just got it and so far no noticable issues. screen is clear whites are white, no buldges ... havent tested bluetooth to my car yet or anyother features.

I havent even installled SIm yet i wnated to be sure it works well

Not sure about this being date specific but there are a lot of 6P bending at the buttons. Looks like a thumb pressed in the side. I already had one replaced that I chalked up to being an issue with my Spigen Thin Fit being too tight but my replacement has a slight bend in the same place and I've been using it without a case. Could be a QC issue.

Awesome. I have the 64 Frost model and it was manufactured on 11/16/2015 of which I received on Christmas Eve after ordering it I believe on the last to second to last day to get the 50 dollar off promotion while I was supposed to have received the day before the 24 but Fed Ex messed up annoyingly.

What DX9 said is correct. The phone needs to be powered down.
