I often download APK files from many sources for many purposes but have no idea in telling whether it's original or not, It was pretty risky.
Is there any way to check an APK file from other sources is the same as on Google Play or not?

Or just download them from Play. (If you can't, due to where you are, get a VPN with a server in a country that can.) Downloading apk files "from many sources" is the best way to get malware.

Only apk files I use are known to be good over the years using them is apkmirror

It's quite hard for normal users to tell whether the APK file on some third-party sites is original or not because Google Play store doesn't publish the app signature. So you can't compare the apk file on sites like apktovi, apkmirror to the original file from google play. I think only developers or someone who knows about tech can extract the APK file from Google play and verify the authenticity of apk files.

Just download direct from Google Play, problem solved.

Alternatively, contact the developer for alternative methods.
