I'm still trying to figure out if Clean Master clears the System cache or not, but in the meantime, I know this works. However, #1 should say: With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY and the POWER key for 3-4 seconds then release. And #3 should say: Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and use the POWER Key to select. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Also note that it is "Recovery Mode" not Recovery .

Cleared my cache on Sunday, sitting here after 1 day and 10 hours of a full charge, with 27% left. Pretty incredible.

Question... I´ve tried and after that my phone just displayed the little android robot with an exclamation mark. Is this the screen I should find? Just wait on this screen until it reboots or anything? Or or should I proceed with step 5 from Motorola website:

5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key

I just did this step 5 it rebooted normal, I don´t know if I did it correctly or not... maybe!

Someone can share any thoughts?

Thanks!
DK

Forgot to mention... Just got my phone, charged this night, it´s the first charge, but within minutes of screen time/browsing (not more than 30min) it went from 100 to 95%.

Hope this clear cache procedure can improve in any way.

Disabled a few things already to check if it improves also!

I may need to charge it a few more nights to get better results... maybe!

Thanks!

After you select recovery mode, it'll show the M and the powered by android. After that goes away, you'll see the Android with the ! and no command listed below. At this point, hold the volume UP key for 5 seconds and while still holding the up key, tap the power button quickly. It should then give you a list of options (the print is very small). I can't remember how far down the list it is, but it's labeled as "wipe /clear cache" (or something similar to that). After you select that, it should start clearing your cache. It will take a while which is normal. Mine took about 15mins to complete and others have reported almost a half hour
