How to completely REMOVE any other user or guest access

Hello, I will apologize if this question has already been asked, but I looked over all the pages for my tablet here and didn't see any. I would like to know what I have to do to keep any other guest or user from being created at ALL and how to ensure that there is only myself as a user. When my tablet is on the lock screen, that face is shown in the upper right hand side and anyone can just create a guest account - even with stock system - I don't want anyone to have any capability to do so at all.

From what I understand I would need to root my device. I understand the "what to do once it is rooted" part, but have been unsuccessfully in finding a reputable (if there is such) root program. Kingoroot will not work with lollipop 5.1. I tried both on their DL to my phone and then with USB to my laptop.

Does anyone have any suggestions? If I could disable this entirely without rooting that would be the best option.

Request help to restrict access to the guest user in a Samsung Tab S2 (8") with lollipop. I tried to remove it and add password but when changing user and back gives you the option to start new guest session, which erases everything. The issue for me is that the tablet is my 9 year old son and has taken to listen to music on Youtube, so I want to prevent it from being exposed to inappropriate content. I have a user created for him with two programs for parental control and as I have restricted youtube, so he goes to the guest user. Even as you install the youtube kids, but still it goes to guest user. How do you see this? Do you think there is any solution? Samsung certainly tells me that for the moment they have not developed an alternative and although I made the request, they will scale and have no time to respond.

I wonder does the marshmallow update allow us to remove the guest feature as well?

You got my interest so I tried a few things and your right it goes back to guest user.i also figured out you can set up a pin ,swipe, etc as you can for a regular user.this should keep him from using guest status.

Never mind I just went to guest and it asks if you want to start over and this overrides everything.very annoying indeed.im running marshmellow so there still doesn't seem a way out of it.

After much effort, I tried this simple method and it worked to solve the problem. Note that you actually have to log on using the guest account for this to work.

Log onto the guest account, and then from settings -> users -> remove guest user.
After a reboot, the option to create a new user or logon as a guest is no longer available from the lock screen.

i did this successfully with my sony z5 and it worked but my samsung tab a comes back after a reboot
