How to configure mobile data usage limit without setting it ON and by entering a value ?

Hi,

I want to configure mobile data usage limit. I have two problems. 1) The phone will only let me configure the limit with Mobile Data ON. That's stupid as there is no relationship between a setting and the ON/OFF setting. That's a bit like if you could only check your motorcycle tires pressure with the engine turned on. 2) The limit is set by dragging the most tiny icon ever (red line) and to make it harder there is the warning icon just near it. I just simply want to enter a value there guys ! So here is my question :

How to configure mobile data usage limit without setting Mobile Data ON, and by entering a limit value with the keyboard ?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not aware of a way to do that. And I think your analogy isn't quite appropriate. It's like trying to check your fuel gauge on your vehicle--you can't, unless you turn it on.
