how to create partition on SD card

Hey guys! I have a Samsung s4 mini gt i9190 running on cm 12.1. Recently I tried partitioning the SD card but when I went to cwm there was no option of partitioning SD card.how do I do it then?

If you mean you need to format and make one partition, do that from your phone's settings.

If you want multiple partitions, you'll need to do that on a computer then add mounts points and an entry into fstab. You'll find the needed init files packed inside your boot image.
