How To Delete .apk Files?

So I have a version of Swype installed on my phone, but I don't get it & would like to remove it.. so I went into Astro & deleted the Swype thing, but now it's still on my phone under the keyboards menu.. any help?

Menu > Settings > applications > manage applications > Swype > uninstall

So what you are really trying to say is you aren't apart of the beta and have gotten a "pirated" version of Swype? Just like CM40 said:
