How to delete downloaded July update so I can get Aug. update?

I never installed the July update due to all the volume problems. Now I can't get the Aug. update. It must be in a system folder somewhere, but I can't find it to delete it.

I don't think it has anything to do with you not installing the July update. The August update rolls out in small batches, so even if you check for updates, you might not see it for a week or two.

I think the volume problems were plaguing the Nexus 5, not the 5x. I would either install July then august updates or visit googles factory image page and side load the ota through adb
